1st Phorm Inks Jodie Minear To Sponsorship Deal

1st Phorm is very proud to announce the addition of IFBB Superstar and Model Jodie Minear to its team of athletes. Jodie turned some heads in 2010, her first year as a pro figure competitor, finishing 5th in the IFBB Phoenix Pro her very first pro show. Jodie, 28, began competing in the NPC in 2008 where she got off to a fast start winning the overall at her very first show. She went on to get her pro card after only three NPC events.

“I was involved in many activities but my real passion wasn’t found until I began working out. I would be at the gym working out while all of my friends would be out having fun. I have always had the drive to be the best and have been obsessed with muscle and the idea of being able to build my body…which made competing a natural fit for me” Minear says.

Jodie will be a featured athlete in 1st Phorm’s advertising as well as authoring a blog called “MsFitt” on the 1st Phorm website. Minear currently writes fitness articles for Texas Monthly a regional publication in her current city of Houston, Texas. Jodie is also a highly sought after fitness model. “I love being in front of the camera and sharing my life with people. I hope to inspire others through my writing and modeling work like so many others have done for me.”

Jodie on why 1st Phorm was the best fit for her: “I actually entered the 1st Phorm Model search in 2009 and I was brought in for a photo shoot in St. Louis with photographer Alex Ardenti. This gave me the opportunity to head to St. Louis and work with the people at 1st Phorm and it was great, I left there feeling like we were old friends after just one visit. After the shoot, they sent me home with a bunch of product and after a few days of using Level-1, 1-Db Goddess and Thyro Drive I was hooked. Honestly, I was blown away with the quality and taste and that along with the friends I made in the company I knew for sure that 1st Phorm was the right place for me. I was very excited when they offered me a sponsorship deal! It came down to great products made by great people and that’s something I believe in.”

After some lessons learned in her rookie year, Jodie is ready for the 2011 competition year and is kicking off her year in 1st Phorm’s hometown of St. Louis at the 1st Phorm IFBB St. Louis Pro on March 19th. Minear says “One day I hope to be on the Olympia stage holding a trophy in my hand.” With the start she’s had, we’d say the chances are looking good.
