“:90 Biz Jolt” YouTube Channel Helps Business Pros to Build Sales & Avoid Embarrassing Themselves

“:90 Biz Jolt”, a new video channel that features humorous clips to “help build your organization and keep you from embarrassing yourself”, has debuted on YouTube.  Rafe Gomez, the co-owner of VC Inc. Marketing, writes, produces, and hosts the videos.

“As a strategy consultant to organizations around the world, I’ve witnessed and heard about some business moves that were real head scratchers,” says Gomez, who was honored as the 2017 Best Sole PR Practitioner by the Bulldog Reporter Stars of PR Awards.  “The entertaining guidance that I’ll present in the “:90 Biz Jolt” videos will offer remedies to these questionable decisions – all of which need to be corrected in order for executives and entrepreneurs to generate results and be taken seriously in the marketplace.”

Gomez’s first video is called “Wack Self-Branding”, and examines the current phenomenon of business professionals who describe themselves using “inane superhero appellations”.  This popular self-promotion trend includes such monikers as rockstar, change agent, futurist, and crushmaster.  After ridiculing these “X-Men wannabes”, Gomez shares a more effective way in which they can present themselves to prospective clients and employers.

Gomez is a native of Jersey City, NJ and was a student at the New School and the School of Visual Arts (both in Manhattan).  His professional background includes stints as a nationally syndicated radio mix show DJ; a QVC host; the author of the top-selling career strategy audiobook “What’s In It For ME?” (iTunes, Amazon, Audible); and a contributor of content to Entrepreneur, CNBC.com, Inc., MarketingProfs, Forbes, and PR Daily.  HIs consultancy, VC Inc. Marketing, provides sales support and PR services to organizations in the education, technology, hospitality, fitness/wellness, and entertainment industries.
