Continuing their tradition of assisting students, the attorneys at Tronfeld West & Durrett are pleased to open their fourth annual Step by Step Scholarship.

Continuing their long-standing tradition of assisting students with their higher education expenses, the personal injury attorneys at Tronfeld West & Durrett are pleased to open applications for the fourth annual Step by Step Scholarship to assist five goal-driven high school seniors or college students with higher education expenses.
No matter the career path trajectory, the team at Tronfeld West & Durrett understand the importance of planning and working hard each step along the way to make dreams become a reality. Knowing their work makes a difference is what inspires them, and they aim to reward students with similar ambitions with the $1,500 Step by Step scholarship.
The 2019 scholarship recipients consist of a U.S. Presidential Scholar semifinalist and former American Idol contestant majoring in musical theater; a student at nearby Virginia Commonwealth University studying criminal justice; and Liberty University student pursuing a degree in elementary education. All five winners have varying career paths, but they have one thing in common: they have created a roadmap to see their ambitions become a reality. If you have a vision for where you want to be in five or even 20 years and believe you have a plan to get there, then we want to assist you in your first step. The application is open to any Virginia student who is—or will be—enrolled in a two-year to five-year institution in 2020.
To apply, we ask that you submit a creative written essay or short three- to five-minute video telling us about your future plans.
