Actors Take a Stand Against HumanTrafficking

Industry: Entertainment & Games

"We cannot think of a greater cause than to rescue children from the sex-slave industry"

Salt Lake City, UT (PRUnderground) August 25th, 2020

A Stand Against Human Trafficking project has been created and just launched by Acclam Films. It is a unique and fun campaign for a very serious cause. They are asking participants to help raise awareness and invite everyone to participate;

– fill a paper plate with whipped topping
– shove the pie in your face

This is a twist to an old Hollywood trope but the idea is to shove it in your own face. The company founder said, “that didn’t go so good as a whole group of actors, who were supposed to throw it it their own face, all schemed to cream me.” It was kept in the project video. Watch it by clicking links below.

According to the company founder and producer, Gene Sibbett, the company producers created an adorable cartoon character known as “Penny Penda” who claims kids are being kidnapped at an alarming rate and sold into sex-slavery.

“To my horror, sex-traffickers create legitimate looking Internet content and now hijacking hashtags such as savechildren —but their purpose is sinister. This MUST stop!

The company believes that Penny is a bridge to the Pie Your Face Challenge and the Stand Against Human Trafficking efforts.

The campaign just started on August 22 so it will take awhile to build momentum. 50% of the funds raised will go to organizations who actively rescue victims from the sex-slave industry and the company has already sent the first check to Underground Railroad, who has rescued hundreds of children.

…and Penny says, “We cannot think of a greater cause than to rescue children from the sex-slave industry”

The other 50% goes toward  a three film trilogy known as “Role Prey” that raises awareness to this heinous crime. The film is a musical/comedy that twists into an intense thriller and is cast with over 60 actors and actresses with a few roles to be filled by known talent. The screenplay is hilarious but becomes deadly serious at the appropriate time. The songs are original and hilarious.

Penny says that “once you donate it’s your movie too!” Donations can be in any amount, even just a couple of dollars.
