Actor/YouTuber Andy Goldenberg Releases Season 2 of Streamy-Nominated Zombie Rom Com “BAD TIMING"

Actor/YouTuber Andy Goldenberg unveils the second season of his zombie romantic comedy series, BAD TIMING, on YouTube (https://youtube.com/goldentusk) beginning September 29, 2017. The first season of the single-camera TV project was nominated for Best Indie Series at the 2014 Streamy Awards. Goldenberg will also be hosting the Red Carpet Premiere Event at Los Feliz 3 Cinemas the night before the release.
BAD TIMING is the story of Andy, an awkward IT guy, who finally got the chance with the girl of his dreams… after a zombie apocalypse… just in time for her action hero boyfriend to save the day. Season Two picks up where Season One ended, with Andy accidentally shooting his mom at the door, under the pretense she was a zombie trying to get into the house.
The project was directed by Cameron Fife (Killing Diaz, A True Story) and Goldenberg and stars Aqueela Zoll (Wrong Turn 6, Fighting with My Family) and Michael Foster (The Thundermans, Axeman 2: Overkill) along with Lisa Raggio (Private Benjamin, G.I. Joe) as Phyllis, Andy’s overprotective mother, and Becca Leigh Gellman (Law and Order: LA, Secret Life of the American Teenager) as Sam, her idea of a perfect girl, with Goldenberg as the schlubby hero.
Goldenberg joins the ever-growing list of actors who are turning to producing and writing themselves into their own meaty Series Regular roles.
“You no longer have to wait for a major studio or network to give you your chance,” says Goldenberg, “On YouTube alone, you have a distribution platform that caters to more than a billion people. I wanted to be on a TV show… so I just wrote my own.”
Goldenberg’s Goldentusk YouTube Channel (https://youtube.com/goldentusk) has more than 56 million views, with Time Out New York film critic Keith Uhlich nicknaming him ‘The Theme Song Sondheim.’ Goldenberg first gained millions of fans for his wildly popular parody videos that deliver original lyrics to some of Hollywood’s most iconic film theme songs, including the hit “Superman Theme Song.”
He performed alongside Adam Sandler as his green screen scene partner in Jack & Jill, was a cover boy of the Nice Jewish Guys Calendar, published a children’s book called “Peter, the Paranoid Pumpkin,” and has been featured in several commercials and TV shows. Before all of this success, Goldenberg was born in Rhode Island, grew up in Florida and earned a B.F.A. in Theatre from the University of Miami.
