Cincinnati, OH (PRUnderground) November 27th, 2018

Additive Manufacturing Media announced today that registration is open for the Additive Manufacturing Workshop for Automotive. The event will be held alongside the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) at the Cobo Center in Detroit on January 16th. The half-day workshop will kick off NAIAS and include access to the exhibit hall.

The event will host suppliers and OEMs presenting in tandem, on how additive production technology is being used in automotive applications and what the future plans for expansion look like. The in-depth technical sessions will give attendees a real-time look at what the demands are for 3D printing in production.

“3D printing is set to play a major role in how cars are designed, produced and marketed,” said Dave Necessary, event director. “We are excited to be coming to Detroit. There is no bigger stage than NAIAS to showcase where additive production is and where it’s going.”
