AMFT Appoints Adolfo Gomez as SVP, Chief Commercial Officer

Associated Metal Forming Technologies (AMFT), a global leader in precision metal forming and mission‑critical components, today announced the appointment of Adolfo Gomez as Senior Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer. In this role, Gomez will lead all global commercial initiatives, including Business Development, Global Product & Engineering, and Marketing, as AMFT continues to integrate and scale its multi‑capability platform across key industrial end markets.

Gomez joins AMFT with more than 20 years of experience driving growth, commercial transformation, and customer‑centric strategies across global industrial businesses, most recently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Sundyne, a leader in mission‑critical pumps and compressors. His career spans senior roles in strategy, commercial leadership, and general management at companies including Cummins, Chevron Texaco and General Motors, with deep experience in oil and gas, marine, mining, construction, agriculture, and other industrial segments across North America, South America, the Caribbean and Asia.

At AMFT, Gomez will focus on building high‑performing commercial teams, advancing AMFT’s go‑to‑market strategy, and partnering closely with engineering and operations to deliver integrated solutions for aerospace, defense, medical, transportation, and other highly regulated applications where reliability is non‑negotiable. His mandate includes sharpening AMFT’s value proposition, deepening customer engagement globally, and aligning product and innovation roadmaps with the rapidly evolving needs of OEMs and industrial customers worldwide.
