Apptega, the global cybersecurity management software company, today announced several major product advancements at its annual cybersecurity conference, Amplify 2019, held in a sold-out venue at The Garage at Tech Square in midtown Atlanta.

The company announced Harmony Intelligent Framework Mapping that will go live March 31st. Harmony enables users to easily combine multiple cybersecurity frameworks like SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR and NIST together into one program, significantly reducing duplicative efforts and redundancies. For example, many healthcare organizations take credit cards and need to be both PCI and HIPAA compliant. Before Harmony, these organizations would be managing 48 requirements as separate programs. With Harmony, that effort is reduced to 18 requirements resulting in over 50% efficiencies in time, resources and costs.

Apptega also announced single sign-on integrations with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Azure AD, Google Apps, and with identity providers such as Okta.

Additional announcements included new one-click Executive Reports for responding to customer due diligence requests and dynamic cybersecurity policy templates tailored to requirements in every framework.

“Apptega’s mission is to make managing cybersecurity easy for companies around the world,” said Armistead Whitney, CEO of Apptega in his conference keynote address. “These core innovations and enhancements, especially Harmony, continue to deliver groundbreaking features coupled with a stellar user experience. We look forward to announcing several more major breakthroughs throughout 2019.”

“Amplify 2019 was a great community of cybersecurity professionals discussing the importance of maintaining and communicating their cybersecurity programs. At the heart of a strong program is Cybersecurity Awareness Training, which Curricula helps companies improve on a daily basis,” said Nick Santora, CEO of Curricula.

Conference attendees came from all over the country to hear CEO Armistead Whitney’s keynote as well as a product deep dive highlighting intelligent framework mapping, single sign-on, and other core features and enhancements.

In addition, an expert panel focused on “Humans, Hacks and Hype—the State of Cybersecurity.” Attendees also attended highly interactive sessions “Presenting Cybersecurity to the Board” and “Cybersecurity Vendor Overload.

During several Customer Spotlight sessions, the audience got to hear about how Apptega customers are using the platform to organize their program. “With the help of Apptega, for the first time in 18 years we were able to measure progress with our Cybersecurity Program, providing a transparent view to our risks and efforts being made by the organization to address them so executives can ask the right questions to govern the process,” said Ray Elquist, Information Assurance Manager with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP.

Additional sponsors Tier4 Advisors and ClearView Group provided additional perspective and industry expertise throughout the event.
