Art Show – Boundless Memories by Amruta Heda at The Ballroom, Armani Hotel, Dubai.

The solo art show ‘Boundless Memories‘ by artist Amruta Heda, showcased 27 art works from 2015 to 2020. When asked about the works, artist Amruta Heda mentioned that her works exemplifies ‘self-interpretation’ and ‘personal experience’. The existence of a strong correlation between the two inspires her to look beyond. Seeking the world as a landscape and interpreting the same in the works bring additional possibilities and endless motives. Exploring the out of ordinary places and cultures reenergize the soul, always healing and indescribable, but when done with open mind and humility, the experience is immense. It gives her dreams new feathers of imagination.

These 27 works of art are from different series from 2015 to 2020 and are mainly acrylic on canvas and water colors. Artist prefers to do larger size canvas works and enjoys the transparency of watercolors on paper. As the play of visuals, memories and imagination is endless, the artist finds a subject to paint across her surroundings with a carriage of countless memories. She shares that some memories are of yesterday and some are of two decades ago, but living with these memories while painting them gives her ultimate satisfaction.

As an avid traveller, exposure to new places and cultures constantly feeds her brain with both visual and emotional experiences that helps in fabricating her works. Her love for travel took her to new places and inspired to connect with nature, adding a new language in the works. With the burst of ever-increasing ideas and unforgettable experiences, the artist connects the dots and comes full circle as this is not an end but beginning of a new process.

Artist Amruta Heda is based in Dubai, UAE and has spent around 15 years in Middle East. She has done her Masters in Fine Arts from MS University, Baroda, India and Bachelors in Fine Arts from JNT University, Hyderabad, India. Artist has been involved with many shows and her works are collected by prominent collectors globally.
