AUS Announces New Diagnostic Ultrasound Systems Camps – HTMs Earn Pre-Approved CEUs

Industry: Healthcare

With no pre-requisite required, any clinical engineer, biomed, or HTM professional can enter the 5-day Diagnostic Ultrasound System Camps (DUSC) at Advanced Ultrasound Systems and become confident to work on at least 2 ultrasound systems. An introductory course plus hands-on instruction with actual GE, Philips, and Siemens systems are essential to the success of the DUSC Program as well as follow-up access to telephone/video technical support and quality parts.

Tulsa, OK (PRUnderground) November 1st, 2021

Advanced Ultrasound Systems (AUS), a leading provider of ultrasound equipment, parts, service, and training today announced a new five-day intense training course, their Diagnostic Ultrasound Service Camps (DUSC).  This new course is designed to equip the HTM professional with the skills necessary to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ultrasound.

Students who complete the DUSC Program, made of three well-established individual ultrasound classes, will have all the tools necessary to begin servicing ultrasound equipment.  The courses are worth 1 CEU per hour of instruction towards their recertification.

“AUS programs are highly interactive,” said Jim Rickner, Service and Training Director for AUS.  “Our students learn by ‘doing’ vs. ‘listening.’ Hands-on instruction with actual GE, Philips, and Siemens systems in the classroom is an essential component to every training course we offer.  With no pre-requisite required, any clinical engineer, biomed, or HTM professional can enter the DUSC program knowing little to nothing about ultrasound and leave with the confidence to work on at least 2 systems.” All graduating students receive priority service on parts requests and continued telephone/video technical support from AUS.
