Baldor Specialty Foods Expands Restaurant Series Making More Iconic Dishes Available To All

From an Authentic Korean Bo Ssam to a Lebanese Mixed Grill, Baldor’s Home Delivery Customers Can Enjoy Diverse Cuisine From an Even Broader Selection of World-Class Restaurants

Baldor Specialty Foods, one of the largest wholesale importers and distributors of fresh produce and specialty foods in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, announced today that they’ve added several new kitchens to their popular Restaurant Series, a convenient service that makes favorite dishes from top restaurants available to home diners via home delivery.

The new participating restaurants are:

  • Altro Paradiso – featuring chef-owner Ignacio Mattos’ light, inventive take on Italian cuisine.
  • Ilili – known as a premier institution of Lebanese food culture and hospitality in NYC.
  • Momofuku – David Chang’s hot spot offering contemporary Asian-American cuisine.

Baldor’s Restaurant Series, which launched in July and has quickly become a favorite with their home delivery customers, was designed to help support the restaurant community during the pandemic. As word has spread, other top restaurants have been added to the program, making their signature favorites available for customers to replicate at home.

New dishes available for ordering include:

  • An expansive take home box from Altro Paradiso featuring everything from fennel salad to spiced lamb ribs.
  • A Lebanese mixed grill kit from Ilili including chicken and beef kababs, kofta patties, and lamb chops.
  • A Bo Ssäm box from Momofuku featuring cured pork shoulder and an array of fixings.

Each meal includes the same fresh, restaurant-quality ingredients used to make the originals, along with a simple-to-follow recipe and cooking tips.  The Series currently features New York City restaurants, with plans to expand to other great restaurants within the Baldor service area.
