Miami Ultra Festival 2016

If you’re hooked on electronic dance music, Miami’s Ultra 2016 Music Festival (UMF) runs from March 18 through March 20th. This not-to-be-missed outdoor musical event will be held at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami. If you haven’t scored tickets, do it now. UMF promises to be one of the best musical events of the season, and the party is just about to start.

Electronic Dance Music Spectacular

With nonstop dance music on eight different stages over three days, the UMF is expected to draw more than 70,000 revelers. On the main stage, festival-goers will be treated to a nonstop lineup of the hottest electronic dance music acts in the world. The other seven stages located throughout Bayfront Park will be featuring new artists, emerging musical acts and the most promising up and coming talents. With laser lights pulsing to the rhythm of the beat, it’s an amazing place to dance the night away.

Meanwhile, DJs will be spinning all the latest dance music hits at pool parties, clubs, hotels and dozens of other venues nearby. If you’re in the mood for a fabulous musical experience this spring, Downtown Miami, Miami Beach and South Beach are where you need to be.

Ten Days Of Nonstop Partying

The Winter Music Conference (WMC) from March 21 through March 24 is an industry-wide event that kicks off immediately after Ultra. This conference for industry professionals offers workshops, seminars, panels and hosts the International Dance Music Awards. Although it’s a networking event for industry insiders, it’s also a great place to learn more about the music industry. Miami’s Music Week will be in full swing from March 15 through March 20 and refers to the dozens of parties taking place all over the city and in South Beach and Miami Beach venues close by.

Ultra 2016 Accommodations

Although hotels within walking distance of the festival are very convenient, many revelers and ravers prefer to stay at South Beach hotels close by that are just a few minutes from Bayfront Park by shuttle or taxi. If you prefer to drive and don’t mind the traffic, parking garages and valet parking are almost always available.

Downtown hotels sell out quickly, even with the high prices. If you haven’t booked your room yet, consider accommodations at a nearby Art-Deco hotel or a boutique hotel on Ocean Drive in the heart of Miami Beach. The rooms are a bit more affordable, and you’ll still be close to all the action. With convenient shuttle service to and from downtown, you won’t miss a thing.

Beacon Hotel South Beach is an oceanfront boutique hotel located on Ocean Drive directly across from the beach. This Art-Deco hotel was built in 1937 and has a strong Art Deco flavor with marble floors, colorful rooms, tiled bathrooms, ocean views, vintage detailing, Art Deco furniture and neon trim.

Ultra Music Festival tickets go fast, so act quickly. If you can’t afford tickets, you can still enjoy the festivities. Over the weekend, the entire city comes alive with nonstop parties and musical events that are affordable and open to everyone.
