St. Paul, MN (PRUnderground) August 24th, 2017
Twin Cities-based Benefit Auction Institute announces expansion of its fundraising and benefit auction education classes to Seattle, WA. The Benefit Auction Institute delivers classroom-style instruction to nonprofits, schools, foundations and organizations that raise money through event-based fundraisers that feature live auction, silent auction, Fund-a-Need (aka direct appeal), and other guest-engaging fundraising activities.
“The Benefit Auction Institute (BAI) is excited to expand our reach to Seattle, another active and engaged charity fundraising market in the United States,” says BAI President and Co-Founder Connie Johnson. “And we are thrilled to align with Nelson Jay of Gavelo Auctions, LLC. Nelson is a fundraising professional and fellow auctioneer who shares our passion for helping clients improve the fundraising experience and to help nonprofits make greater impact in the community.”
“We’ve spent years developing the curriculum and Nelson shares our vision of helping nonprofits reduce stress, elevate the guest experience and grow the fundraiser,” adds CFO and Co-Founder Kurt Johnson. “Connie and I have had the chance to work with Nelson at various National Auctioneer Association (NAA) education summits over the past several years and it is clear that we all share a passion for teaching and helping nonprofits grow.”
