Blacks in Tech Uses Collegiate Experiential Learning Opp to Attract 1000 Students to BITCON2019

Industry: Technology

Minneapolis, MN (PRUnderground) March 28th, 2019

Blacks in Technology partners with St. Cloud State University Herberger Business School to get 1000 students to BITCON2019. As BITCON2019 is the 2nd installment to Blacks in Tech Annual conference that debuted last year in Twin Cities, MN, students in the MBA Program will consult and strategize on how to best reach this years attendance goals as part of their capstone course.

As a problem based learning project, students will develop diversity focused marketing skills and learn how to strategically communicate to attract the intended audience. Students will also have the opportunity to interview employers to learn more about university recruiting goals as well as determine best practices for the upcoming conference.

BIT Founder Greg Greenlee commented, “Blacks In Technology is excited to partner with St. Cloud State University. This partnership will support our goals of engaging with more students across the US as well as connecting them with great career opportunities.”
