The leadership changes, which were accompanied by a rebrand including a new website launch, strategically position Blue Fountain Media to continue driving innovation in the digital space, helping client brands grow their presence online and maximize their potential to build brand resonance in a digital-first landscape.
The appointments are as follows:
- Brian Byer will lead the team as VP and General Manager of Blue Fountain Media. He had previously served in multiple leadership roles over the last 6 years for BFM. Byer has over twenty years of experience leading organizations and multinational business development teams to exceed revenue, growth and profit goals. He joined the agency six years ago and has served as a critical leader in production and business development efforts at Blue Fountain Media.
- John Marcinuk – Marcinuk is a digital marketer with over 16 years of experience, joining Blue Fountain Media in 2014. Most recently, he served as Director of Integrated Digital Marketing & PR. Now in his role as Group Director of Marketing, Marcinuk will be managing a cross-discipline team overseeing all aspects of BFM’s Digital Marketing Practice. As a thought-leader in digital marketing, John has been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, and Advertising Week. He has led his team in successful campaigns for major brands including Microsoft, Bowlero, Sony, Prizeo and Service King.
- Elizabeth Minton – Minton comes to Blue Fountain Media from 5W Public Relations, a full-service PR agency, where she served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. She is an experienced marketer and business development professional with over a decade of experience. She brings her demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and executing on both traditional and digital marketing programs to BFM. In her new role, Minton is Head of Business Development & Corporate Marketing, where she will identify and develop new business opportunities as well as build and expand the presence of the company and its partners.
- Dan Drapeau – Drapeau joins Blue Fountain Media from EY Digital (a division of Ernst and Young) where he spent 4-years spearheading their global Digital Commerce practice, serving as a Senior Consultant in their Advisory Service line. In his new role at BFM as Head of Technology he is responsible for establishing BFM as a market leader in current and next generation technologies, expanding technical architecture capabilities and overseeing global web development teams. He has experience managing and delivering complex software implementations for Fortune 500 clients across a diverse set of industries.
