This amazing exhibition uses real human bodies known as Plastinates to demonstrate the science behind how our bodies work. The Plastinates are placed into specific poses that mimic positions our bodies are put into on a daily basis.
The displays show visitors the intricate systems of blood vessels, muscles, organs, bones and tissues that make up the body.
The Human Body Exhibition comprises of nine galleries that feature over 200 body and organ specimens, each showing a different part of the system that makes up our bodies. Galleries include Nervous, Muscular and Digestive.
The exhibition is currently being held at the Ambassador Theatre inDublinand is open daily from 10am to 7pm.
To avoid disappointment tickets to the exhibition should be booked in advance. Adult tickets cost €20, children €12 and there are discounted prices for students, OAPs, families and groups of 10 or more.
