Bryan Honda, North Carolina’s Oldest Dealership, to Make History by Selling Directly via Facebook
On Cyber Monday, Fayetteville dealership will become first to offer real-time Facebook car sales
FAYETTEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA (PRUnderground) November 26th, 2015
Bryan Honda is continuing to light the path as a pioneer in social sales, and its latest announcement makes it clear that North Carolina’s oldest auto dealership is poised to revolutionize the way the auto sales industry and its consumers connect via social media.
Today, Bryan Honda announced that it will make history as the first auto dealership to ever sell vehicles in real-time directly within the Facebook platform. Beginning on Cyber Monday 2015 (November 30, 2015), auto buyers will be able to purchase vehicles from Bryan Honda while inside the Facebook module by way of Stripe.com. Bryan Honda will get started by beta testing a few of its new and used models for sale.
When shoppers see a vehicle they like, they’ll have a few options. They can view and watch videos for each during a live Periscope viewing, which will offer a first-person perspective of each vehicle.
Bryan Honda General Manager Tim Roussell, who has become known to many as Mr. Big Volume for his track record in the area of auto sales, said, “We’re always trying to stay on the cutting edge of technology. We studied and modeled our dealership from companies like Amazon, Netflix, and Zappos, and then we integrate our processes and systems to emulate them. You could call us Hondazon.”
Roussell envisions more smooth transactions that include more digital technology that could potentially shred complete face-to-face time down to just minutes. He has become known as an automotive industry disruptor, an expert who has displayed turnaround expertise time and time again. He has shone in rebuilding dealerships to national sales volume records, and Bryan Honda is on track to lead the pack for Honda sales.
Rico Glover, Digital Strategist and Certified Social and Community Manager for Bryan Honda, said, “While most dealerships are still wondering if social media can sell vehicles, we’re blowing company records away. Some days we sell more vehicles in one day just using digital than others sell in a month, and Facebook is our #1 lead referral for engagement. We are the only dealership in the country with a sales team dedicated to social sales.”
The pioneering social sales team were recently featured in an Auto Dealer Monthly article entitled “The Social Media Superman”. In the article, Roussell and Glover shed light on how the two have worked together to bring together their passions to find mutual ground and propel Bryan Honda to new heights.
Glover also spends time as a well-known speaker, and he will be presenting at the upcoming Internet Sales 20 Group Event in New Orleans next month, which will host some of the digital marketing industry’s best professionals. Glover also offer The Dealer Playbook podcast to help other auto dealers boost their marketing efforts.
Bryan Honda might be North Carolina’s oldest dealership, but they’ve redefined the way dealers do business in the state – and even across the nation – with a new way of marketing. One of the recently released videos from Bryan Honda shows the level of dedication and service offered by the dealership’s team.
On Cyber Monday, people who want cars for sale online will have a new alternative, and people who search for ‘cyber Monday car deals’ or ‘cars for sale Facebook’ will be in for a pleasant surprise. They’ll be able to go to the Bryan Honda Facebook, see immersive videos detailing new and used cars, and even buy autos through the Honda dealership NC’s Facebook page.
