HOPE STEPS: GAS SALE AND FRESH PRODUCE

For the Community, at a time of public unrest due to COVID as well as the feeling of dissatisfaction and inequality by our government and neighbors “HOPE STEPS” in conjunction with James Desiderios Inc, Mandela Market and Rehoboth House of Prayer are giving away Fresh Produce and providing the community with an Gas Sale at 272 E. Ferry St at the corner of Jefferson and East Ferry between the hours of 4 and 7pm Thursday, June 4^th in hopes to begin to heal the community.

Rehoboth House of Prayer community impact has been incredible.  Since the onset of this pandemic they have served multiple senior housing complexes, emergency housing units and families throughout the Western New York community. Rehoboth House of Prayer is working everyday to give people hope by meeting the needs of the community.  For the community, they have:

·      Provided over 4,000 boxes of fresh produce to families in Buffalo and beyond.

·      Over the last three months; served over 1500-individuals with mobile food distribution.

·      Provided baby clothing’s, diapers, and baby formulas to new mothers

·      With Nike, Inc. we have given out over $10,000 of Brand New sneakers.

·      Distributed dog and cat food, household cleaning supplies, toilet tissue, thinking of you baskets, books, games, basketballs, shoes, and more throughout Western New York.

·      Provided gauges and cleaning supplies to burn victims as well as vitamins and other recovery supplies.

·      Most importantly, during our distribution activities we have taken the time to encourage and pray for individuals in need.

As we serve Western New York our reach initiative “HOPE STEPS” provides for the needs of the community.
