Boughton has proclaimed Sunday, October 8, 2017, as ‘Dr. Satchi Day’ in honor of its founder, director and board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. Mahalingham Satchi’s birthday, and his service and generosity to the Danbury, CT community.
Dr. Satchi has played a key role in women’s health in Connecticut the last 30 years since opening his medical practice in Danbury initially and then joining the Candlewood Center for Women’s Health in Danbury in 2004.
Named on Connecticut’s magazine list of ‘Top Docs’ and a renowned women’s health surgeon, since opening Candlewood Aesthetics in 2004, Dr. Satchi’s been called ‘Connecticut’s Best Kept Beauty Secret.’ Candlewood Aesthetics is Connecticut’s premier aesthetics center specializing in non-invasive cosmetic treatments and in-office laser surgery.
A Beautiful Transformation
Dr. Satchi’s trained extensively with internationally prominent plastic and cosmetic surgeons in New York City, Las Vegas, Toronto and London and is renowned for his artistry and perfectionism in producing natural, stunning results.
He’s sought after by clients for his incredible aesthetic talent and kind, caring demeanor, and his client base spans the Northeast.
“Cosmetic treatment requires that you have an eye for aesthetics with a gentle, artistic touch because it’s an art form, says Dr. Satchi. “I enjoy working with my patients, which includes both men and women, to help them achieve their visions of beauty and health and make a positive difference in their lives.”
Dr. Satchi’s affiliated with Danbury Hospital and has volunteered his time on the Executive Committee, the highest-level committee for all hospital decisions for the last ten years. He’s proud to support several local non-profits and is on the Board of Directors at the Community Health Center, a medical clinic for underserved populations in the Northeast.
Dr. Satchi’s passion and dedication to the practice of medicine spanned three continents including North America, Europe, and Asia. He traveled to Sri Lanka in 2004 to run medical clinics after the tsunami.
He’s married to Dr. Rajadevi Satchi, a prominent pediatrician at Child Care Associates in Danbury and is the proud father of three beautiful daughters and four grandchildren; all of which brings Dr. Satchi great joy in his life.
He credits his happiness in life to one simple mantra.
