Carmenere Day is celebrated each year on November 24 by wine lovers around the world to commemorate the rediscovery in 1994 of the carmenere grape variety in Chile. This year on Carmenere Day, Wines of Chile USA announces the launch of a four-month promotion with Snooth Media. The “Captivating Carmenere” program, set to run online offering a range of experiential touchpoints for wine consumers, members of the wine trade and journalists to learn about the history and quality of this captivating grape variety.
Activities include virtual winemaker-led tastings open to all; a Masterclass for select journalists; and a suite of digital communications via Snooth Media and Wines of Chile digital and social media channels, including an educational microsite. The three-month promotion leverages the increasing power of digital media to reach wine consumers where they are and with the wine content they crave.
