Celebrating the Launch of Adam Sulkowski’s LISTEN START NOW with Girl Power Talk

About Adam

Professor Adam J. Sulkowski is a Babson Presidential Scholar and Professor of Law & Sustainability at Babson College – recently ranked the #2 college in the United States by the Wall Street Journal, and #1 in entrepreneurship education by U.S. News & World Report for over 30 years.

He has visited over 170 countries to gather stories of extreme entrepreneurs, people whom he describes as “people who build solutions to meaningful problems despite a lack (to some extent) of resources that we would assume is essential.” Sulkowski goes on: “it could be a lack of know-how, relationships, money, or even a context that is peaceful, with stable politics and currency… Whatever the limitations or challenges, it is fascinating to see the similarities in how totally different people in different places solve different problems and build self-sustaining solutions.”

The title—LISTEN START NOW—as explained in the book, reflects key takeaway observations about these similarities, and was inspired by an interaction at a book talk.

Volumes 2 & 3 are being launched as a single eBook entitled LISTEN START NOW, Sulkowski explained, because (1) he feels he is overdue in sharing these stories (gathered since 2023), and (2) he wanted to offer them as a holiday season gift to the people profiled.
