ChristianSteven Software Announces the New Release of PBRS

At ChristianSteven Software, we are proud of all of our high-quality business intelligence tools and solutions. We previously launched a new tool called PBRS (Power BI Reports Scheduler), which is based on our highly successful SQL-RD scheduler for SSRS. PBRS helps in automating the filtering, distribution, and delivery of Power BI reports and dashboards. You will be happy to know that PBRS is not web- or cloud-based, so the data never leaves your network.

Now, we are releasing PBRS Version 2.0, after hearing your inputs and feedback. We have made several enhancements along with software fixes in this version of PBRS.

PBRS Enhancements

At ChristianSteven Software, we understand the importance of sharing your Power BI reports and dashboards with various stakeholders. Sharing allows for better collaboration within and outside the organization. PBRS can already export the summary and underlying data of all your visuals to Excel or CSV formats as data only exports.

We have now added the ability to send your Power BI reports and dashboards to one or more Slack channels. Similarly, Dropbox is a highly used collaborative medium, and we have also added the ability to send Power BI reports and dashboards to Dropbox for your ease-of-use. If you are using Google Sheets for sharing, you will be happy to know that now PBRS also supports the ability to send Power BI reports and dashboards to Google Sheets. In addition, we have also made PBRS compatible for users who have two-factor authentication enabled for their Power BI accounts through AzureAD.

PBRS Fixes

Based on your feedback, we have made a few fixes in the PBRS 2.0 release. You will no longer see data-driven schedules hanging. Additionally, we have made some performance improvements and minor bug fixes in this release of PBRS. The next PBRS release will be available in January 2019.
