Coe College Prioritizing Student Satisfaction with Online Bookstore Change

Akademos announced today a new partnership with Coe College to provide the school a comprehensive online bookstore solution. The private liberal arts college will begin using Akademos’ industry leading course content sales and delivery platform this fall.
After a comprehensive search, Coe selected Akademos based on the company’s strong customer service and its ability to accommodate the school’s booklist, said Larry Lee, Coe’s Vice President for Finance and Administration.
“We needed to find a vendor who could provide a superior customer experience while also meeting faculty needs for an extensive selection of course materials,” Lee said. “It became clear to us that Akademos has the right mix of cutting-edge technology, inventory, and experience to meet our goals.”
The announcement is the latest in a series of new partnerships between Akademos and private liberal arts institutions who are looking for new ways to help improve student outcomes.

Under the agreement, Coe will continue to sell merchandise on-campus through its food vendor while Akademos undertakes all aspects of course material management.
