Creators Live Kicks Off Annual TikTok Social Media Event

Following the success of the inaugural event, Creators Live is making plans now for next summer

Creators Live has just kicked off its annual TikTok Social Media Event, with more than 700 attendees coming out to see nearly 45 famous TikTokkers. The event featured live performances, Q&A sessions, and meet and greet opportunities.
Creators Live CEO and Founder Landyn Gerleman says, “We are already planning to return to the same venue next year, the Welk Resort Theater, in June 2021.” The easiest way to find the most up-to-date information is at www.creators-live.com
Creators Live is billed as, “the opportunity to reach ‘beyond the screen and meet your favorite social-media creators in real life.” The first event of its kind in the Midwest, Creators Live featured artists including Mattia Polibio, Kairi Cosentino, Reza Illusionist, Danielle Cohn, Sebastian Topete, and Derek Trendz. “All of these creators have missions, and they were excited to be able to meet their social media fans in person,” Gerleman says.
Creators Live took precautions in line with Missouri state guidelines to safely host the live event during the global COVID-19 pandemic. They asked that people who felt sick to not attend, checked people’s temperatures at the door and denied entry to those with signs of a fever, highly recommended people wear face masks, and directed attendees to practice social distancing. At this time, no new cases of COVID-19 have been reported from those who attended.
Gerleman was inspired to launch Creators Live after attending Playlist Live in Orlando, FL, annual convention primarily for YouTube and TikTok content creators. The convention has been held annually since 2010.
Gerleman wanted to duplicate that experience in Branson, which is a family-themed tourist destination. His goal was to feature a different type of event that he could introduce to people. Attendees travelled from multiple states, and influencers came from around the world.
Building the lineup required significant planning. The initial focus on was on popular TikTokkers. Some of the TikTokkers reached out to Gerleman directly. Additionally, when Gerleman posted about the event, fans tagged their favorite creators in the comments.
