Dallas CIPP Now Offers UV LED Technology in Their CIPP Services

Dallas CIPP is proud to announce that it now offers UV LED technology as part of the CIPP process. CIPP pipe repair already provides many advantages over traditional pipe repair, one of which is the amount of time that property owners can save during the process. Thanks to LED CIPP technology, Dallas CIPP can speed up the process even further, helping their clients get back to work fast. 

Dallas CIPP has always offered the most up-to-date pipe repair options, which is why they specialize in CIPP. CIPP, or cured-in-place pipelining, doesn’t work like traditional pipe repair. Until recently, pipe repair required digging. A repair crew would dig through layers of dirt and landscaping to reach the affected pipe. CIPP, however, seals the pipe from the inside. Instead of digging to reach the pipe, the repair crew inserts a flexible liner into the host pipe. Since they insert the liner from an existing access point, there’s no need to destroy any landscaping in the process. 

Now, with the advent of UV LED technology, the CIPP process has even more advantages. With UV CIPP, the Dallas CIPP team performs the CIPP process as usual. Then, they insert a UV light into the newly-repaired pipe. The UV light cures the resin that coats the CIPP tube, leaving it dry, strong, and ready to protect the host pipe. 

CIPP pipe repair is already faster than traditional pipe repair, but the longest part of the process comes from waiting for the resin to cure. Now, thanks to UV CIPP, what used to take days can now be done in a matter of hours, and as soon as the resin cures, property owners are free to use their pipes again. UV CIPP comes with other advantages, too. For example, it ensures that the resin gets an even cure.
