Miaoguang says, “Acupuncture and moxibustion treatment involves the use of conventional milli-needle to select the acupoints of the head, upper limbs, and lower limbs or the acupoints of extra nerve points. According to the principles of syndrome differentiation and treatment, with electric acupuncture or acupuncture techniques, the needles are retained for 20-30 minutes. Acupuncture and moxibustion for the treatment of insomnia are often combined with the simultaneous treatment of acupoints related to the ear points. It can further improve the therapeutic effect.”
