Dr. Carney received his medical degree from The University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency for Internal Medicine at the University Of Kansas Medical Center. In 1983, he completed a fellowship in Cardiology from the University of Missouri/Columbia, Missouri.
