Driving Successful Lives Moves to Include Real Estate Donation to its Core Collaborative Efforts in Raising Funds for Families and Individuals In Need

Industry: Non Profit & Charity

The non-profit organization now accepts residential and commercial property donations as a way to raise funds to help needy families

Michigan (PRUnderground) July 30th, 2019

Driving Successful Lives, a Michigan non-profit organization that accepts used car donations as a way to provide funding to other non-profits and churches that it partners with, has added commercial & residential real estate donation functionality.  A spokesman for the non-profit organization reported that the addition of real estate donations will “drastically increase the dollar amounts that we are able to contribute to worthwhile causes.”

“Having the ability to work with individual donors, companies and real estate professionals will help us to provide much-needed funding to many more families – while providing significant tax benefits to the donors.  Rather than sitting on a possibly inactive property, the donor get out from under the property while seeing both financial and social benefits. We can take these (oftentimes) depreciating properties and put them back into use.  With some real estate donations, our partner charities have the opportunity to house families that are sorely in need of a home.”

Driving Successful Lives will accept real estate donations that include, but are not limited to: single homes, multi-unit apartment buildings, storefronts, warehouses, etc.  “Our goal is to be able to put houses back in circulation as homes and put other types of real estate to good use to benefit as many families 7 individuals in need as possible.”

About Driving Successful Lives

Driving Successful Lives’ mission is to help raise funds and improve the lives of veterans, homeless families, children, those with addictions while helping donors generate a tax deduction, often with property or vehicles they might no longer want.

Every time a person gives to the charity of their choice it may also create a tax benefit for them. Car donations, real estate donations or money donated to non-profit institutions throughout the tax year may be tax deductible which means that they could make a positive difference for people while reducing the amount of income taxes they pay. Contributing to charities can be a very convenient way to reduce taxes and help others.
