With proven preparation tactics, Empower GMAT has grown to be known as one of the most trusted GMAT preparation courses available.  Alumni of the course boast an average of an 89 point increase, and 151 points over the median GMAT score, and have been accepted into every one of the top 25 MBA programs.

The GMAT is not a course to take lightly. As potentially the most important test of a business career, those planning to take it will benefit from studying the appropriate amount, and on a regular schedule.

Committing 100-120 focused hours to studying is typically recommended. While many attempt to take the GMAT with only a few weeks to a month of preparation, 2-3 months is recommended for better results.  120 hours broken down over 3 months will mean about 12 hours of studying per week.

For those who work full time, finding enough availability to study around the work week is difficult, although many have no choice but to make it happen. You can find small pieces of time broken up into efficient portions, such as in the morning before work, during your morning & evening commute and at lunch, all in addition to the usual after work time frame.

One of the most recommended tips, however, is to keep your schedule regular and focused. Finding roughly 100 hours over the course of a year, for example, may not yield results as high as if you were to regulate your studying to 2-3 hours per day, 5-6 days per week.

Remember, the GMAT is only one part of what schools are looking at when determining who to accept. While a score over 700 is an impressive achievement, you should look into all of the requirements for your desired MBA programs to prepare your application.
