Film Industry Producer of the Year Award presented to Sue Ann Taylor at Pinewood Studios Event

This year’s Film Industry Producer of the Year Award was presented to Sue Ann Taylor on Thursday, March 28th at Pinewood Studios, Fayetteville, Georgia. Sue Ann Taylor is currently producing Charlie’s Christmas Wish along with her producing partner, Toni Hudson (Jill Frost Films). Taylor has helmed Blue Heron Films, a film and television production company since 1999.  She also owns Georgia Production Support, a concierge service company for films in production; and Slivercast, offering studio services for narrow focused networks.

Taylor has been producing award-winning film and video for over 40 years and has received the New York Festival Award, GMB Entertainment Award, 41 Telly Awards, 3 Emmy nominations, and other awards. She has produced multiple syndicated television series and broadcast networks, development of niche networks including the Quilters News Network (QNNtv), Opera Network Television, Natural News Network, as well as broadcast producer of The Drama Desk Awards.

Taylor currently has several films in development including Etowah Ridge, Shelter (by Michael Sloan, The Equalizer), Baby Girl, Maybe Something Beautiful, and Diary of the Dragon’s Daughter.

Taylor is currently organizing a New York City fundraiser for the Bonobo Conservation Initiative, hosted by Ashley Judd in conjunction with the United Nations on May 16th.
