New York, NY (PRUnderground) November 14th, 2023
The attack launched by the terrorist organization Hamas on Israel had a devastating effect on the western Negev area and its inhabitants. Israel’s Art at Dawn is a new fund set up by the members of the Israeli art community in response to the horrible event. It aims to raise funds for five art institutions and 90 artists in southern Israel, who suffered the consequences of the violent attack, by hosting an online art sale. The art sale will continue through November 15, 2023. Fine Art Shippers, a New York-based fine art logistics company, supports Israel’s Art at Dawn’s mission and urges everyone to join the initiative.
Founded by the artist Michal Geva and the art curator and online art sale specialist Nir Namir, Israel’s Art at Dawn is a project created by professionals in the art industry, who volunteered their resources and expertise to help the cause. The fund’s objective is to provide financial aid to artists and art institutions in southern Israel and restore the foundation of the local art scene to ensure its future development. Israel’s Art at Dawn believes that art has the power to heal communities and provide much-needed support to people in times of grief and sorrow.
Fine Art Shippers, a fine art logistics company based in New York, expresses its solidarity with Israel’s Art at Dawn’s goal and urges the public to support the charitable cause. The company is known for providing professional art transportation and art handling services, ensuring the safe delivery of artworks in the United States and internationally.
The charitable online art sale organized by Israel’s Art at Dawn will continue through November 15, 2023. It features works by renowned Israeli artists, including those who are currently living in the area affected by the recent attack. Among them are Michel Platnic, Allison Zuckerman, Aziz + Cucher, Naama Tsabar, Nir Hod, Zoya Cherkassky-Nnadi, David Reeb, Nir Hod, Elinor Carucci, Tsibi Geva, Gideon Rubin, Michal Na’aman, Sigalit Landau, Michal Gevam, Gal Cohen, Naomi Mendel, and many more. The sale includes works on paper, paintings, photography, sculptures, and 3-D art, among others.
The pieces featured in the art sale can be purchased by Israeli and global customers on Israel’s Art at Dawn’s website. 75% of the proceeds from the art sale will go directly to providing immediate relief to those in need, with 25% going to artists who provided their works for the sale.
