The Commercial wing of the Ford Motor Company has once again seen its vans receive a string of accolades, with the news that the blue oval’s commercial vehicles scooped

The Commercial wing of the Ford Motor Company has once again seen its vans receive a string of accolades, with the news that the blue oval’s commercial vehicles scooped five awards at the A2Z awards.
The awards are held by the free to use UK van website, A2Z; which features a comprehensive selection of vehicles and offers everything from road test videos to customer appraisals, ensuring an unbiased and extremely informative set of results for potential buyers.
The awards were as follows:-
Ford Transit – Van of the Year
Ford Ranger – Best Pick-up
Ford Transit – Best Small Panel Van
Ford Transit – Best Minibus
Ford Fiesta Van – Highly Commended Small Van
As you can see the new Ford vans swept though their competition and the highlight surely has to be the Ford Transit picking up the ‘Van of the Year’ award.
Commenting upon the Transit’s success, Steve Clary, the director of Ford of Britain’s commercial wing, remarked: “In a tough economic climate, operators are choosing Ford Transit vans for their reliability and cost of ownership. The latest models are saving operators hundreds of pounds in fuel, making them the most efficient, durable and technologically-advanced version of this iconic commercial vehicle so far”.
The new Ford Ranger was once again in the limelight even after just recently receiving five stars from the Euro NCAP association for its safety features.
