Trust in the promise of new life and find the light of truth in a God who loves and cares for you. St. Francis of Assisi did.
According to Craig Minowa, Songwriter and Cloud Cult’s founder “This song was written for our newborn son, Nova. After the loss of our previous son, who passed unexpectedly at the age of two, we went through a long grieving process that brought us through a lot of soul searching, and that journey back towards some kind of hope in the madness was journaled into an album we called Light Chasers.”
Cloud Cult began as Minowa’s solo studio project, and over the course of ten studio albums the band has grown with an evolving lineup of musicians. They’ve had several albums at the top of the college radio charts but declined major record label deals in favor of staying independent. Rollingstone ranks Cloud Cult in the Top 10 greenest bands.
