Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity offer opportunities for Women at all stages of Discerning Religious Life. Events held at their Motherhouse and U.S. Mission sites.

Wisconsin, Arizona, Michigan (PRUnderground) September 18th, 2018

Come and See Our Home, Our Life Retreat September 28-30. Begins Friday evening with social and night prayer. Weekend includes Morning Liturgy, Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, heritage tour and pilgrimage to ministry sites, including Our Lady of Good Help Shrine, Champion, WI.  Concludes after Sunday dinner at 12:30 p.m.

Discernment Day with Franciscan Sisters and Poor Clares in Belleville, IL. October 13 “Am I called to be a Sister or a Nun” is one common vocation question. Now you can meet sisters and nuns in a contemplative, prayerful environment. Franciscan Sisters are collaborating with the Poor Clares of Belleville for Discernment Day at their Belleville Monastery. Sister Anne Marie Lom, OSF facilitates this retreat respecting the monastic daily schedule and  liturgy of the hours while presenting discernment helps and guidance. Begins at 8:00 a.m. (or optional Eucharist at 7 a.m) and concludes at 4 p.m.

Wisconsin Motherhouse Visit October 19-21. Visit Holy Family Convent with other young women from Kansas, Wisconsin and Illinois who are discerning our gospel way of life. Meet Sisters, and our newest Postulants and Novices.

Tucson Area Franciscan Discernment Day November 18  Pray and reflect and converse with other young adult Catholic women who are discerning a religious vocation at the spiritually vibrant and historic San Xavier Mission. Discover and reflect on St. Francis of Assisi’s own discernment journey and his drawing on the Gospel for wise decision-making in his daily life.
