Green Bay, WI (PRUnderground) June 21st, 2016

Through summer, the “Women of Strength…” stream will be available at https://fscc-calledtobe.org. California based Tess Narciso’s commented that she wrote “The Only One We Need” “…at a time when I felt so overwhelmed with all the changes in my life: graduating college, and getting through my first year as a registered nurse… Growing up I learned to always ask God for guidance whenever I felt lost.  In writing this song, I noticed a feeling of relief, as if God was speaking to me through my own lyric. … all I did was trust in God’s plan for my life on this earth.  What an amazingly difficult, exciting, and rewarding journey it has been!” Narciso’s album was produced by John McFee of The Doobie Brothers and Joey Stec of The Millennium.

Ashley Cleveland’s “Beauty in the Curve” draws from her experience that “The places that God has taken me, every time He throws me a curve… it ends up being a centerpiece of my life, and this beautiful treasure I would not have had any other way.”

Cleveland is a three-time Grammy and two-time Dove Award winner who has released eight critically acclaimed albums. She has performed with John Hiatt, Steve Winwood, Joe Cocker, Emmylou Harris, Etta James and Amy Grant among others.

The Innocence Missions’ gentle declaration that “God Is Love” finds beauty in the ever day. “God is Love and Love will never fail me”. The Innocence Mission has released a string of critically acclaimed albums since their debut album in 1989.

Brazilian singer Nathalia Nunes, a self-described singer of Contemporary Christian Music – Cantora de Música Cristã Contemporânea  – offers her version of Arriane’s “Deserto”.   “Praise God for this opportunity of a recording to be reaching American hearts. God is faithful to all his promises, no desert is eternal, we can sing and believe. The rewards are the songs that… generate greater miracles than those we experience in the desert.”

Vocation Directress Sr. Julie Ann Sheahan OSF recalled “In the Franciscan tradition, St. Clare of Assisi is a woman of God who modeled great strength. “Those called by the Lord to our vocation… in turn may be mirrors and examples for those who live in the world.”
