GAMA’s LAMP Conference Set to Take Place from March 11 – 14 featuring Harry Hoopis and Joey Davenport as Keynote Speakers

The 2018 LAMP Conference will be taking place from March 11 to 14 in Nashville, TN which will include Harry Hoopis and Joey Davenport as keynote speakers.

Although GAMA international hosts its LAMP Conference annually, the 2018 event promises to be bigger, better and more informative than ever before. There will be more than 25 speakers who will be presenting from the main platform, several workshops, sessions and other related activities.
Two of the keynote speakers at the event will be Joey Davenport and Harry Hoopis from Hoopis Performance Network, and they will be hosting a Solution Session. The topic covered in their session will be “The Myth of the Magic Bullet.” While many people may think there is a ‘magic bullet” involved when it comes to retention and productivity levels, this is not the case. During this session, Hoopis and Davenport will be highlighting research and addressing current industry trends that need to be reversed in Leadership Development, Recruiting and Selection and New and Experienced Advisor Development.
The Celebration of Excellence Dinner will also form part of the program. Hoopis was inducted as a member of the GAMA International Hall of Fame in 2003 and this group includes industry legends and top leaders in agency management who have displayed superior performance in their current positions.
Each year, HPN donates complimentary tuition for six field leaders to the two day Firm Foundations: Systems for Success workshop in Chicago valued at more than $12,000. The GAMA Foundation funds research on leadership development for the industry and it is a non-profit organization.
Attendees will also be able to take part in the Auction by placing bids on top speakers, exotic vacations and exceptional experiences at the GAMA Foundation’s Live Auction. Items on auction this year include opportunities to partake in a meeting of the GAS and RAGs study groups, five-star resort outings and one-on-one mentorships with Hall of Famers. Attendees who place winning bids will not only be able to get an excellent deal; they will also be supporting the GAMA Foundation’s education and research program.
Another part of LAMP 2018 that attendees look forward to is the HPN VIP Party, which has become one of the most popular events at LAMP each year. This year’s party will be hosted at B.B. Kings located on 2nd Avenue in Nashville. Attendees will be able to kick back and relax in The Blues Basement, while being treated to a performance by one of the best blues bands in Nashville.
In addition to all of the other events, there will be a LAMP 2018 Canadian Reception, which is held specifically for any GAMA delegates who are from Canada. HPN is the only sponsor from the USA for this event for the fifth consecutive year, and it clearly demonstrates GAMA’s commitment to the industry in Canada.
