The American Royal World Series of Barbecue® is one of the most popular and highly attended events on the professional barbecue competition circuit. It is organized and hosted by the American Royal Association, a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) organization in Kansas City since 1899. In addition to the World Series of Barbecue, the American Royal provides opportunities for youth and adults from around the country to compete in our Livestock Show, The Rodeo and Horse Shows.
