Industry: Healthcare
The company earned recognition in the Most Innovative Product of the Year – Healthcare and Medical category
Phoenix, AZ (PRUnderground) December 15th, 2020
Health Information Management Systems (HiMS) has been named a Silver winner in the Most Innovative Product of the Year, Healthcare and Medical Category in the 2020 Best in Biz Awards, the only independent business awards program judged by prominent editors and reporters from top-tier publications in North America. HiMS received this honor for its Rapid Response program that helped clinics overcome the challenges of COVID-19.
“Helping clinics adapt to the changing demands of the global pandemic was our top priority in 2020, and we’re honored to have earned recognition for our work in achieving this,” said Khalid Al-Maskari, CEO of HiMS. “We know how much technology can make or break a clinic. For this reason, we were determined to help our customers not only stay in business during COVID-19, but also enable them to maintain positive revenue.”
Through its Rapid Response program, HiMS quickly integrated telehealth and virtual billing solutions into its Electronic Health Record (EHR) solution, Axiom. In less than 72 hours, HiMS helped its customers achieve the necessary technology integration that allowed them to succeed during a time when most clinics struggled. The judges were impressed with HiMS’s agility and adaptability that allowed the company to thrive, in addition to its willingness to go the extra mile to help its customers in these unusual times.
Despite the global pandemic, the 10th annual program saw a particularly strong field of entries from public and private companies of all sizes. HiMS earned recognition amongst global leaders such as Clorox, ADP, Go Daddy and more. Entries spanned all geographic regions in the U.S. and Canada.
Since the program’s inception in 2011, winners in Best in Biz Awards have been determined based on scoring from independent judging panels assembled from some of the most respected publications, TV and radio outlets in North America. The 2020 judging panel included writers from Barron’s, Consumer Affairs, USA Today and Wired. Combining unparalleled journalistic expertise with their inherent objectivity, Best in Biz Awards judging panels can uniquely determine the top applicants among the hundreds of competitive entries.
“In this wild year, it’s amazing to see companies still innovating, adapting and thriving,” said Christopher Null, author at Wired, “Having judged seven of the last 10 Best in Biz Awards programs, there’s so much in the business world that is inspirational right now.”
