Hoffoss Devall Announces Scholarships for Two Deserving Louisiana Students

At Hoffoss Devall, we are humbled and proud to announce our scholarships for two hard working, deserving local students.

As proud members of many Louisiana communities, the team of lawyers at Hoffoss Devall believe that everyone should have a chance to receive a college education, particularly those that rise to a challenge. That is why the team is awarding two scholarships to two deserving students this year.
If you are a Louisiana high school, college student or law student enrolled in a Louisiana university, Hoffoss Devall wants to help you pay for your college.
The $2000 Safe Driver Scholarship will be awarded to a Louisiana high school senior enrolled in a two-year to five-year institution in Louisiana in 2019. There is no minimum GPA to apply for this scholarship award, but the student must explain why it’s important to not be distracted while driving and how they set an example among their friends, family and broader community.
If you are an undergraduate, graduate or law student enrolled in a two to five year institution in Louisiana, you are eligible for Hoffoss Devall $2000 Problem Solving Scholarship. There is no minimum GPA for this contest as well, but the student must show a love for community and advocacy, with the passion to solve a problem that could help others.
In each competition, the applicant can choose to apply by creating a short video with accompanying essay, or by completing a full essay.
