Horizons Edge Partners With INFLCR To Provide Groundbreaking Social Media Platform
Horizons Edge To Empower Teams, Athletes, Coaches And Ambassadors
Harrisonburg, VA (PRUnderground) October 17th, 2019
INFLCR will provide Horizons Edge teams, athletes, coaches, and ambassadors the ability to send pictures and video content to personalized galleries. Athletes, Coaches, and brand ambassadors are then able to access the content galleries through the INFLCR mobile app and can then share the content to their personal social media accounts.
INFLCR’s content distribution platform will provide distinct benefits to Horizons Edge teams by amplifying marketing and communications reach along with delivering measurable value of increase audience engagement to the individual athletes who are taking advantage of the mobile app, while bolstering Horizons Edge’s online presence in a way that impacts event attendance, fundraising, and other strategic goals.
Horizons Edge’s General Manager, Jeff Flammang; “for Horizons Edge, we will have so many different games, tournaments, and other activities taking place at any given time, the thought of providing the media coverage for all activities was a little overwhelming.” “INFLCR can provide us with the technologies that will allow our staff workflows to improve so we’re very excited to embark upon this new relationship.”
Social Media and the Benefit to Student-Athletes
INFLCR’s content distribution platform is providing distinct benefits to student-athletes who are taking advantage of the mobile app. Data from Troy University’s 2018 football season showed that an average of 70 athletes used INFLCR to download and share content after each game, resulting in posts that reached 450,000 people.
Sports Program Director Nora Maguire White is hoping to bring that same enthusiasm about social media to Horizons Edge, where she can also help educate student-athletes about the best ways to approach social media.
I’m excited about helping our student-athletes understand why their brand is important, and educating them on how to use social media in a way that has a positive impact not only on the people around you, but on yourself as well,” says Maguire White.
“I’m excited about that aspect of it, so there’s different levels of the benefit INFLCR brings to Horizons Edge, and a big piece of that is the exposure of our successes. We’re going to be prepared at Horizons Edge to celebrate success.”
