Filmmaker, photographer, comic Dailey Pike is a Stoic, a philosophy he says is based on doing the right thing, as praciticed by Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius, the guy in the Gladiator movie.
Pike is a big fan of 40’s film as he thinks it was a decade that brought out the best in people. He believes this decade will be the same saying, “Character is fate. How you react when the chips are down defines you. It will define us.”
In addition to https://HouseOfTheDragon.Theater Pike, a hot sauce maker as well as fashion designer is sending hot sauce to food banks and healthcare workers via his https://HouseOfTheDragon.com website.
He has to date sent over 11,000 bottles of hot sauces that he sells on https://www.amazon.com/condimentdysfunction to foodbanks in New York, Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, and Colorado. Pike is using the hashtags #HotSauce4Hunger and #HotSauce4Heroes to call attention to his efforts. He is encouraging other sauce makers to join him.
Said Pike, “In January I was selling my new line of hand painted and print swimwear, then in March… Coronavirus. So, I figured until the beaches opened up again, I’d see what I could do to help. When I started seeing news stories about food banks running out of food there was the inspiration.”
