How the Kentucky Labor Board is using iConstituent to Streamline Communication

Due to the sudden impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has left businesses struggling to stay open and states processing an unprecedented number of new unemployment claims. In Kentucky, the Labor Cabinet is responsible for working with constituents and helping them solve their issues. Faced with the trifecta of a surge in the number of claims, work from home rules, and new benefit program rollouts (such as the CARES act), the Labor Cabinet’s legacy systems have struggled to keep up. Recognizing the challenges and the need to enhance their capabilities, the Labor Cabinet chose to partner with iConstituent to help streamline communications so that constituents could get solutions to their critical concerns faster. iConstituent’s Engagement Platform would ensure that casework communications are collected and tracked in one database, ensuring that staff can seamlessly collaborate while keeping track of the history of information previously processed.
