Integre Technologies Announces Enhanced Camera Link Interface FMC Card

Integre Technologies, a leading provider of FPGA design and verification services and FPGA based IP and board products, today announced the release of the FMC-200A, their next generation Camera Link FMC Card. The FMC-200A is capable of capturing video from base, medium, full and extended mode cameras and is ideally suited to industrial, defense, aerospace and prototyping applications.

The FMC-200A provides several enhancements from the current FMC-200 Camera Link FMC card. These features include:

• Updated FMC connector pinout to support a wider range of FMC carrier cards
• Support for V_adj voltage anywhere in the range of 1.2V to 3.6V
• Support for both single camera mode (Base, Medium, Full and Extended modes), and dual camera mode (Base mode only) selectable via the FMC-200A configuration registers
• Addition of an SPI interface for configuration of the FMC-200A
• Significantly lower price

The FMC-200A performance features include:

• FMC / VITA 57 FPGA IO Mezzanine Standard
• 7.14 Gb/s Camera Interface Bandwidth
• 7.48 Gb/s FMC Interface Bandwidth

FMC (VITA 57) is a high performance I/O mezzanine module specification which addresses the need for improved front panel I/O functionality within embedded systems. FMC modules connect to 3U and 6U form factor cards including VME, VPX, REDU, CompactPCI, CompactPCI Express, Advanced TCA, AMC, PCI and PCI Express Carriers.
