Intermountain Health Expanding Family Medicine and Geriatric Care for Cache County Residents with Opening of New Intermountain East Logan Clinic
Logan, UT (PRUnderground) June 4th, 2025
High-quality healthcare is expanding in Cache Valley, Utah with the opening of the new Intermountain Health East Logan Clinic.
Located at 550 East 1400 North on the Intermountain Health Logan Regional Hospital campus, the new clinic will specialize in family medicine and geriatric care.
Ryan Allen, MD, who previously practiced in Cache Valley, will also be joining the clinic team as a primary care physician.
“I’m thrilled to be serving patients back here in the valley, and I look forward to helping meet the needs of this community,” said Dr. Allen.
Community members and clinic caregivers gathered Tuesday evening for a ribbon cutting and tour of the facility. Doctors will begin seeing patients June 4.
“We’re excited to open this new primary care location which will significantly increase access for patients in Cache Valley,” said, Jana Huffman, Intermountain’s market vice president of medical group operations in Northern Utah. “Our new geriatrician, Dr. Landon Watts, is also joining us this fall, and his arrival marks an important step in bringing specialized care for older adults to the Cache Valley.”
This expansion reflects Intermountain Health’s ongoing commitment to keeping care close to home and helping people live the healthiest lives possible. Intermountain is focusing on preventative care and a major portion of that includes having primary care providers available to meet those needs.
