Jae Emanuel to Become Backup Singer for Multi-Award Winning Gospel Artist

North Carolina singer song-writer Jae Emanuel has been chosen to sing backup for popular gospel singer/ song-writer KJ Scriven at the 2021 Transcend Conference. Jae Emanuel (Joshua Alston) will be performing live with the singer/ songwriter for the two day conference. Though the conference will be based around supporting fellow christians in the area with workshops and more, there will be worship & praise performances that will be a treat for those that attend. Jae Emanuel (Joshua Alston) will also be participating in the leadership for the ‘Christ In Culture” portion of the conference.

This will be Jae Emanuel’s first performance in 2021 with professional gospel industry talent. The singer currently has 3 singles available for listening on all major platforms including spotify, itunes, iheart radio, and amazon music. In a June 4th recording of ‘The Vibe Selection’ with Kyra Mahoney, Jae explains his process in song-writing and how every song written has an important story. While the year has been scarce with performing opportunities, in late August, the artist secured a long-term partnership with a local hospital in North Carolina to perform for the nurses and patients at the chapel. Jae Emanuel states, “I am happy to perform, encourage, and share stories through music any way I possibly can.”

Currently, the artist and his team are planning to perform for the holiday season from November- January. These performances will take place across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia at state and county events for holiday events such as Thanksgiving philanthropic events, Christmas tree lighting ceremonies, Christmas philanthropic events, and New Year celebrations. Outside of physical celebratory events this holiday season, Jae Emanual will also be participating in virtual events on social media platforms with pages that are both large and small.

Joshua Alston, better known as Jae Emanuel, is a Greensboro, North Carolina gospel artist that owns Jae Emanuel Records. His love for music came at an early age while observing his mother and father Rev. and Mrs. Charles Alston, do ministry through song.
