Jeremy Katz Music, a Teaneck, NJ-based production company that’s owned and operated by multi-instrumentalist session musician Jeremy Katz, is making a unique music video production service available for companies in any industry that are seeking to offer interactive, engaging, and entertaining team-building activities for their employees.

“The team-building activity that I provide to corporate clients combines my productions of hit pop songs along with custom lyrics that are written and lip synced by the company’s employees in an original music video,” says Katz, who’s a 2014 graduate of Yeshiva University (BA in Music).  “The employees love the process, and they really have a blast making the video – which is a fantastic vehicle for delivering the company’s intended message.”

Jeremy multi shot.JPGKatz’s most recent client for his corporate production services was Shell Oil Company, which hired him to produce a safety initiative video for a team-building event.  Shell employees wrote the lyrics to a song parody of Meghan Trainor’s #1 pop hit “All About That Bass” called “All About That Goal”.  Using these lyrics, Katz performed and recorded the song, then gave the employees instructions on how to create a lip sync video featuring all the project’s participants.  He then edited his audio with the employees’ lip sync video, and the resulting segment was presented at a company business gathering.

“Jeremy’s creativity and talent, combined with his ability to effectively communicate and deliver a music video that satisfied our unique business objective, was outstanding,” says Shell’s David Soza, who hired Katz for the project.  “The team and our executives were very impressed with ‘All About That Goal’, which has inspired and motivated employees to become more engaged at work.  Even though Jeremy was working in his studio in New Jersey and our team was in Texas, the entire project was assembled in less than two weeks, and was executed flawlessly.”

Katz is an experienced producer of music and videos:  his YouTube performances of hits by such artists as Drake, The Beatles, The Weeknd, Queen, Bruno Mars, The Four Seasons, Maroon 5, Andy Grammer, and Jason Derulo have recently been picked up for airing in the U.S., Caribbean, and South America on the Gone Viral TV cable channel.  His videos have also been tapped for inclusion on Cover Nation’s YouTube stream, which features “top covers from the best YouTube singers”.  Katz develops, films, and edits each of his videos and performs all of the vocal and musical parts.

“All participants in the corporate video team-building projects that I produce and edit derive tangible benefits,” says Katz.  “Employees get to know each other, bond, and have a great time creating, singing, dancing, and performing in front of the camera.  Organizations are able to improve the cohesiveness, spirit, and interpersonal relations of their workforce.  It’s amazing how effective the experience can be, and how much everyone enjoys it.”
