JMD Furniture Donates $1,000 Worth of Furniture to Hillcrest Heights Elementary School

Recently, the leading chain of furniture stores in Northeast America donated $1,000 worth of furniture to a local elementary school. The family-owned business has also taken part in other charitable programs in the past creating a strong example for other companies.
Founder and CEO of JMD Furniture, Dev Joshi believes in doing well himself so that he can take care of everyone around him. Joshi said, “Everyone includes my family, my friends, and my extended family, including my charity.” He also added, “Donating the furniture to the school is my gesture of giving back to the community which has helped me in many ways to grow my business.”
Needless to say, the children and the teachers of the elementary school were really happy to get new furniture for their classes.
“I would request any school that wants to change its furniture for their teachers lounge to contact us. Teachers are the future on which America is built on. We will be more than happy to contribute to the education of our future generation ensuring teachers have the proper infrastructure to run their classes,” Dev Joshi Said. Talking about the difference the move is going to make, he states “It gives me immense joy to be able to serve my community and do my part as a responsible citizen.”
