Brightlink CTO, Joe White, has been named one of the top 100 Telecom Influencers of 2020 by Capacity Magazine in their April/May 2020 issue.

Every year, Capacity Media publishes a list of the top 100 telecom influencers. In the April/May 2020 issue of Capacity, the company’s bimonthly magazine, Brightlink’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Joe White has been named one of those influencers.
Per the published summary, Joe White assisted in numerous projects that helped propel Brightlink forward in recent years. He not only launched Brightlink’s CPaaS, UCaaS, and Business Messaging platforms, but he helped establish Brightlink as a leader in the telecommunications industry.
Mr. White has been with Brightlink since it launched in 2009. His team is responsible for a variety of tasks that have helped Brightlink grow, including sales and network engineering, product development, information technology, and more. In fact, he built the original Brightlink network that is still in use today. Before coming to Brightlink, he spent 10 years in other leadership roles in the industry, working as a lead sales and service engineer, a senior systems engineer, and a Microsoft-certified consultant.
Aside from this, Mr. White is very well known for his forward thinking. He has spoken at some of the industry’s key events, including ITExpo. Thanks to Mr. White and his talent and determination, Brightlink’s offerings have received numerous awards. These include the Top 10 VoIP Solution Provider Award in 2019 and 2020, the 2018 Customer Product of the Year from TMC, and the CIO Applications Top 25 Unified Communications Solutions Providers award in 2017, among others.
