JustUS®, CEO Stacy Snapp-Killian Will Receive Mentorship Award At 10th Annual Women That Soar Award

Gina Grant, founder, CEO and creator of the Women That Soar Awards, announced that STACY SNAPP- KILLIAN, CEO of JUSTUS®, an American multi-media company, designed to promote the business formation of other successful survivors of sexual abuse, will be honored with the Mentorship Award at the 2017 Women That Soar Awards Show on Saturday, October 14th inside The Renaissance Hotel in Dallas, Texas.

The Women That Soar Awards is the only televised awards show dedicated to celebrating the brilliant lives of women from all cultural, social, economic, and racial backgrounds. The historical event honors diverse women who have charter their own paths to successful and rewarding lives; women with stronger voices who dare to soar!

Arriving in Victoria, Texas, Thursday –October 4th, Vice President, David Fisher of Two Fold Fusion Productions who began filming Stacy’s story, a 26-year veteran in the beauty business, Snapp-Killian is the celebrity hairstylist, author, CEO, and entrepreneur who founded JustUS®. In 2014, she advanced the brand to becoming the “infotainment” headquarters for survivors of sexual abuse and promotes survivors’ stories, like herself who have business formations designed to help victims’ still suppressing sexual abuse and take ownership of their life.  The short-bio will air at the Women That Soar Awards Show before Stacy takes the stage to be honored as the 2017 mentorship recipient.

Snapp-Killian’s career track is impressive, not only for her position as a hairstylist but for the mentorship she provides and the respect she has earned from her community. Over the years, Stacy has volunteered her time working to promote the fundraising efforts of local non-profit organizations including; The American Heart Association, American Advertising Federation, Restoration House Ministries, and “Tickled Pink;” raising money to support women with breast cancer. Stacy has spent hundreds of hours mentoring adults’ still suppressing sexual abuse and empowered many of those men and women to share their story.

The Women That Soar Awards is the only televised award show of its kind and sure to be the red-carpet event of the year, hosted by Entertainment Tonight Correspondent, Brooke Anderson. Performing live, Nick Fradiani, American Idol Season 14 winner; Jon B, musician, songwriter, and producer with several gold and platinum records; MAJOR, R&B and Pop recording artist, and Knox Hamilton, with their blend of laid-back guitar riffs, catchy bass lines with rhythmic drum beats, and soaring vocals, the audience is sure to get up and move to their beat!

Taping for the Women That Soar Awards will take place in Dallas, Texas at the Renaissance Hotel, and will be aired in select major markets in March 2018, during “Women’s History Month.” In keeping with WTS tradition, the star-studded event will feature appearances by renowned Celebrities, Entertainers and Recording Artists.
