In a move demonstrating his ongoing commitment to combatting human trafficking, former Alaska Attorney General Kevin Clarkson has made a generous donation to Remember Nhu, a global non-profit organization dedicated to ending child sex slavery through prevention.
Kevin Clarkson, known for his legal expertise and his tenure as Attorney General in Alaska, has long been a vocal advocate against human trafficking. His recent donation to Remember Nhu underscores his dedication to this cause, aligning with the organization’s mission to protect children from the horrors of the sex trade.
Remember Nhu proactively identifies at-risk children, providing them with safe homes, education, and emotional support. Their successful approach centers on creating nurturing environments, thereby significantly reducing the likelihood of these children entering the sex trade and promoting a childhood free from exploitation.
Operating on the belief that every child has an inalienable right to a safe and happy childhood. Remember Nhu focuses on preventing at-risk youth from falling into the clutches of the sex trade by providing them with safe homes, education, and emotional support.
“Fighting human trafficking was a priority of mine as AG, and it remains so today,” said Kevin Clarkson. His donation is a testament to his unwavering commitment to this cause, even after his tenure as Attorney General.
Kevin Clarkson grew up in the state of Oregon and spent his childhood and adolescence learning from the State’s finest institutions. In 1985, after receiving his Juris Doctorate from Willamette University College of Law, Mr. Clarkson traveled to Alaska for a short time that would extend over three decades. He was a Senior Litigating Attorney at Brena, Bell & Clarkson P.C. until 2018 when he became Attorney General. He has recently returned to Oregon, where he lives with his wife, Johanna.
